The Torment
''The Torment'' is the debut studio album by the British Christian thrash metal band Seventh Angel, released on Music for Nations in 1990. The album established the band as "one of England's leading thrash metal bands" by ''The Daily Telegraph''. In 2010, ''HM Magazine'' ranked it number 51 on the Top 100 Christian Metal Albums of All Time list. Recording After signing with Under One Flag, a subsidiary label of Music for Nations, Seventh Angel recorded the debut at Mad Hat Studios, Wolverhampton, with producer Paul Hodson. The cover art was done by Rodney Matthews. The album features plenty of tempo changes, progressive elements and considerable amount of death/thrash leanings. "Torment" is a comic book story arc written and illustrated by Todd McFarlane that encompasses the first five issues of the new ongoing ''Spider-Man'' series. Mount Torment is a high peak in the North Cascades of Washington in the United States. It is located approximately northeast of the city of Everett. First ascended on August 23, 1946, its name originates from the first ascent party, because of "the torture of a hot day with only one orange for quenching thirst." Something seems to be different during this lifetime, and Daniel is determined to keep Luce safe from hostile forces while he teams up with other angels and demons in an eighteen-day long truce. He installs Luce at the prestigious Shoreline school in Northern California, where she meets a number of nephilim students who have yet to choose between good and evil.
