Clute, Texas
Clute is a city in Brazoria County, Texas, United States, within the Houston metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 10,604. The city gained some fame with the discovery of a fossilized mammoth named Asiel. History Clute's history began at the junction of the old Calvit and Eagle Island Plantations. Alexander Calvit, one of Stephen F. Austin's Old Three Hundred, obtained title to the land in 1824. Eagle Island Plantation belonged to Jared Groce, the richest man in Austin's Colony. Calvit's plantation later became the Herndon sugar plantation, owned by John H. Herndon, who married Calvit's only daughter. After the American Civil War, Joseph Pegan, Soloman (or Solomon) J. Brazosport Facts
The ''Brazosport Facts'' is the largest daily newspaper for Brazoria County, Texas, a part of the Greater Houston area. The newspaper is owned by Southern Newspapers Inc., and began in 1913. History The paper was started by printer Roy Ruffin as the ''Freeport Facts'' months after the 1912 founding of Freeport, Texas by the Freeport Sulphur Company. One year later, the paper was acquired by C.P. Kendall, Sr. who also owned newspapers in Port Aransas, and the '' Angleton Times'' in Angleton. A 1932 Freeport hurricane destroyed the ''Facts'' building and killed 40 people. Separate area newspapers, the ''Brazoria County Review'', ''Velasco World'', and ''West Columbia Light'' were acquired by businessman W.D. Johnston. Strong Bad
Strong Bad is a fictional character from ''Homestar Runner'', a series of animated Adobe Flash, Flash videos, who is inspired by "The Strong Bads" from the video game ''Tag Team Wrestling''. He is voiced by The Brothers Chaps, Matt Chapman, the principal Voice acting, voice actor and co-creator of the series. Strong Bad enjoys pranking the other characters of the series, along with his ever-diligent lackey pet The Cheat and his older brother Strong Mad. Strong Bad first became popular due to his own segment on the Homestar Runner website, called "Strong Bad Emails".
