"Every Little Step" is a 1989 single by American singer Bobby Brown, written by L.A. Reid and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and released by MCA Records. Released as the fourth single on his second album ''Don't Be Cruel'' it reached number three on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, number 2 on the ''Cash Box'' Top 100, number one on the Hot Black Singles chart, and number six on the UK Singles Chart in 1989. The song also appears on Brown's remix album '' Dance!...Ya Know It!''. The single garnered Brown's first career Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the 32nd Grammy Awards in 1990. ''Two Can Play That Game'' is a remix album by American singer Bobby Brown, released in 1995 on MCA Records. The album contains remixes of tracks from two of Brown's studio albums—''Don't Be Cruel'' (1988) and ''Bobby'' (1992)—plus two tracks which appear in their original versions ("Don't Be Cruel" and " On Our Own"). The K-Klass remix of " Two Can Play That Game", which was released as a single, became a big hit throughout Europe in 1995, including reaching number three in the UK Singles Chart, becoming Brown's biggest hit single in that country. Hi-top fade is a haircut where hair on the sides is cut off or kept very short while hair on the top of the head is grown long. The hi-top was a trend during the golden age of hip hop and urban contemporary music of the 1980s and the early 1990s. It was common among young African American males between 1986 and 1993 and to a lesser extent in the mid–1990s (1994–1996). The hi-top fade is commonly called a crew cut, due to the great likeness of the two styles. In fact, the hi-top fade could qualify as a variation on the flattop. The running man is a street dance, consisting of "shuffling" and sliding steps, imitating a stationary runner. The dancer takes steps forward, then slides the foot placed in front backwards almost immediately, while moving their fists forwards and back horizontally in front of them. The fad dance was said to have been started in the mid-1980s. Notable practitioners of the dance were MC Hammer, Janet Jackson, Five Star, Selena, Milli Vanilli, and Vanilla Ice during their live concert shows and in music videos. Midnight Star is an American musical group that had a string of hit records in the 1980s.
