Andreas Thom
Andreas Thom (born 7 September 1965) is a German former professional footballer who played as a forward for BFC Dynamo, Bayer Leverkusen, Celtic and Hertha BSC. He played 51 times for East Germany throughout the 1980s and played ten times for the unified Germany national team in the early 1990s. He is now retired from playing and works as a youth coach at Hertha BSC. Club career Andreas Thom was born in Rüdersdorf in East Germany and began playing football at an early age for TSG Herzfelde. Andreas Thom joined the youth department of BFC Dynamo in 1974 and enrolled in the elite Children and Youth Sports school (KJS) "Werner Seelenbinder" in Alt-Hohenschönhausen in Berlin. He began a sports teacher degree at the German University of Physical Culture () (DHfK) in Leipzig in 1987. The 1992 UEFA European Football Championship was hosted by Sweden between 10 and 26 June 1992. It was the ninth UEFA European Championship, which is held every four years and supported by UEFA. Denmark won the 1992 championship, having qualified only after Yugoslavia was disqualified as a result of the breakup of the country and the ensuing warfare there. Eight national teams contested the final tournament. FC Carl Zeiss Jena is a German football club based in Jena, Thuringia. Bernd Schulz
Bernd Schulz (born 12 February 1960) is a German former professional footballer. Schulz joined the youth academy of BFC Dynamo in 1975 and made his professional debut for BFC in the 1979–80 season. He was part of the all-conquering team of the 1980s. He won nine consecutive East German titles, two Cups and the DFV-Supercup between 1979 and 1989. The DDR-Oberliga (English: ''East German Premier League'' or ''GDR Premier League'') was the top-level association football league in East Germany. Neubrandenburg (lit. ''New Brandenburg'', ) is a city in the southeast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. Jürgen Bogs
Jürgen Bogs (born 19 January 1947) is a German football coach who led BFC Dynamo to ten consecutive DDR-Oberliga titles from 1979 to 1988. Bogs was a youth coach at BFC Dynamo before becoming the coach of the first team in 1977. The ten consecutive league titles won by BFC Dynamo under Bogs is an achievement that has never been matched by any other coach in European club football. Alt-Hohenschönhausen (, literally ''Old Hohenschönhausen'') is a quarter (''Ortsteil'') in the borough (''Bezirk'') of Lichtenberg, Berlin.
