Benjamin Francis Leftwich
Benjamin Francis Leftwich (born 4 September 1989) is an English singer-songwriter from Heworth, York, Heworth, York. His father was Adrian Leftwich. He attended Hempland Primary School and Bootham School in York. Leftwich released his first album ''Last Smoke Before the Snowstorm'' in 2011 which peaked at #35 on the UK charts. He has released four further albums since, the most recent in February 2024. Leftwich has also co-written with other artists, including The 1975, Holly Humberstone and CMAT (musician), CMAT. Early life Leftwich began playing at the age of ten and grew up listening to the Rolling Stones and Nina Simone; later discovering Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, and Elliott Smith. He cites Cher, Arcade Fire, Ryan Adams, and Bruce Springsteen as inspirations. Education Leftwich was educated at Hempland Primary School, and then at Bootham School. is a 1999 Japanese and French film. The story is based on the last script written by Akira Kurosawa and is directed by his former assistant director of 28 years, Takashi Koizumi. It was awarded a Japanese Academy Award in 1999. It was chosen as Best Film at the Japan Academy Prize ceremony. It was Japan's official submission for Best Foreign Language Film at the 73rd Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee. Synopsis A group of travelers are stranded in a small country inn when the local river floods. As the bad weather continues, tensions rise amongst the travelers trapped at the inn. ''Impressions'' is an album of live and studio recordings by the jazz musician and composer John Coltrane. It was released through Impulse! Records in July 1963. Music and recording Tracks 1 and 3 were recorded live at the Village Vanguard in November 1961, during the same residency that produced the seminal '' "Live" at the Village Vanguard'' album, while tracks 2 and 4 were recorded at Van Gelder Studio, respectively on September 18, 1962 and April 29, 1963. Track 5, "Dear Old Stockholm," also recorded on April 29, 1963, did not appear on the original release, but appears on later reissues. The album was originally released in 1963 on the Impulse! label. The Underachievers are an American hip hop duo from Flatbush, New York. Formed in 2011, the duo is composed of rappers AK the Savior and Issa Gold.
