Zvimba District is a district of Mashonaland West Province, Zimbabwe. Location The district is located in Mashonaland West Province, in central northern Zimbabwe. Zvimba District is bordered by Guruve District to the north, Mazowe District to the east, the city of Harare to the southeast, Chegutu District to the south, Kadoma District to the southwest and Makonde District to the west and northwest. Robert Gabriel Mugabe
Robert Gabriel Mugabe (; ; 21 February 1924 – 6 September 2019) was a Zimbabwean revolutionary and politician who served as Prime Minister of Zimbabwe from 1980 to 1987 and then as President from 1987 to 2017. He served as Leader of the Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU) from 1975 to 1980 and led its successor political party, the ZANU – Patriotic Front (ZANU–PF), from 1980 to 2017. Ideologically an African nationalist, during the 1970s and 1980s he identified as a Marxist–Leninist, and as a socialist after the 1990s. Mugabe was born to a poor Shona family in Kutama, Southern Rhodesia. Sabina Mugabe
Sabina Gabriel Mugabe (14 October 1934 – 29 July 2010) was a Zimbabwean politician. She was the younger sister of the former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe. Biography Sabina Mugabe was born on 14 October 1934 at the Kutama Roman Catholic Mission, which was run by Jesuits of the Rome-based Marist Order, in the Zvimba District 50 miles northwest of Harare, to a Malawian-born father, Gabriel Matibili and a Shona mother, Bona. Sabina Mugabe left Rhodesia under an assumed name in 1975 and studied home economics and nutrition at Battersea College of Technology and Richmond College in London before going to Nova Scotia, Canada, to study for a diploma in social development at a Catholic college. August Msarurgwa
August Musarurwa (usually identified as August Msarurgwa on record labels) was the Zimbabwean composer of the 1950s hit tune "Skokiaan" (also known as Skokiyana, Skokian). History August Musarurwa was born and raised in the Zvimbamap district of Mashonaland, a region in the north of what was then Southern Rhodesia. He attended Marshall Hartley Primary School before moving to what was then Salisbury (Harare) to find work. After working as a clerk for a tobacco company, he joined the British South African Police as a 22-year-old. The BSAP employed Musarurwa as an interpreter, but later he transferred to the police band. He left the BSAP to work for the Bulawayo Cold Storage Commission, living in the company's compound. James Robert Dambaza Chikerema (2 April 1925 – 22 March 2006) served as the President of the Front for the Liberation of Zimbabwe.Nyangoni, Wellington Winter. ''Africa in the United Nations System.''
