Zhangjiajie Airport
Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport () is an airport serving Zhangjiajie, Hunan, People's Republic of China . The airport is located in Huhua village in Yongding District of Zhangjiajie. It is the second largest airport in Hunan, after Changsha Huanghua Airport, and the only international airport in the Wuling Mountains region. As of 2019 it has a capacity of 5 million passengers, 19,000 tons of cargo and 45,000 aircraft movements. History In 1991 construction started on Dayong Airport, which had its first test flight in December 1993 (Dayong is the former name of Zhangjiajie City). The airport eventually opened for commercial flights under the name Dayong Zhangjiajie Airport on 18 August 1994. In 1995 it was renamed Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport. Zhangjiajie
Zhangjiajie (), also known in Tujia language as ''Zhangx jif avlar'' /dzaŋ˩ ji˥ a˩.la˥/, is a prefecture-level city in the northwestern part of Hunan Province, China. It comprises the district of Yongding, Wulingyuan and counties of Cili and Sangzhi. It contains the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, part of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area which was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 by the China National Tourism Administration. Xuzhou Guanyin International Airport is the airport serving Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China. As of 2016, it is the 62nd busiest civil airport in China. Huizhou Pingtan Airport
Huizhou Pingtan Airport is a dual-use military and civil airport serving the city of Huizhou in Guangdong Province, China. It is located in the town of Pingtan in Huiyang District, 20 kilometers from the city center. The military airport served commercial flights between 1985 and 2002, but stopped when the military was forbidden to operate commercial businesses. The military airport was first built in the 1950s. In March 2011, the Huizhou city government reached agreement with the Guangdong Airport Group to redevelop the airport for civilian use. Xining Caojiabao International Airport , also called Caojiapu Airport, is an airport serving Xining, the capital of Qinghai Province, China. It is located in Huzhu County, Haidong, on the Tibetan Plateau about east of downtown Xining. The airport began operation in 1991, and in October 2011 a new 3,800 meter long runway was built to replace the old one. History The first airport of Xining was located west of the current airport near the town of Lejiawan. Built on orders of warlord Ma Bufang in 1931, it started limited civilian use in 1933.
