Zbigniew Pietrzykowski
Zbigniew Jan Pietrzykowski (4 October 1934 – 19 May 2014) was a Polish boxer. He took part in three Olympic Games, each time winning a medal. He won a bronze medal at Melbourne 1956 in the light middleweight division, after losing in the semi-final to Hungarian László Papp. Four years later in Rome, he reached the final of the light heavyweight division, where he lost to Cassius Clay, who was 7 years younger. Finally, he won a bronze medal in Tokyo in 1964, in the light heavyweight division (defeated by Soviet Aleksei Kiselyov). He participated five times at the European Amateur Boxing Championships and won five medals: a bronze in the light middleweight division in Warsaw 1953, and then four gold medals: in West Berlin (1955) in the light middleweight division, in Prague (1957) in the middleweight division, in Lucerne (1959), and in Moscow (1963) in the light heavyweight division. Carl Crawford (boxer)
Carl Crawford (6 September 1935 – 1 March 1999) was a Guyanese light-heavyweight boxer, who represented his country at the 1960 Summer Olympics. He was in fact the first boxer to compete for Guyana in the Olympics. There he was eliminated in the first round of the men's light-heavyweight division by Zbigniew Pietrzykowski of Poland, he then became sparring partner for Muhammad Ali. Crawford won a bronze medal at the 1959 Pan American Games in the middleweight class, defeating Robert Piau of Canada in his first bout before being eliminated by Bob Foster of the United States. Crawford then won the third place bout versus Rafael Toro of Venezuela. Crawford also competed at the 1963 Pan American Games in the light heavyweight category and won a silver medal in that category at the 1962 Central American and Caribbean Games. Boris Georgiev Nikolov ( bg, Борис Георгиев Николов; 10 March 1929 – 29 January 2017) was a Bulgarian boxing, boxer from Dobrich. Nikolov was the first Bulgarian ever to win a medal at the Olympics. He competed for Bulgaria in boxing in the 1952 Summer Olympics held in Helsinki, Finland in the middleweight event where he finished in third place and took a Bronze medal. Aleksei Ivanovich Kiselyov (russian: Алексей Иванович Киселёв; 17 March 1938 – 19 June 2005) was a Russian boxer. Competing for the Soviet Union in light-heavyweight and middleweight divisions he won silver medals at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics and at the 1967 European championships, losing all three finals by a close decision. He won the World Army Championships in 1958, 1961, 1962 and 1966. Kiselyov was an aggressive southpaw boxer who won many bouts by a strong counterattacking blow to the body with his left hand. Kiselyov took up boxing in 1954. He won the Soviet titles in 1964 and 1966, finishing within the podium in other years between 1959 and 1968. He retired in 1968 after winning 225 of his 250 bouts, and in 1969–70 and 1975–80 was the head coach of the Soviet boxing team.
