Lightning
Lightning is a naturally occurring electrostatic discharge during which two electrically charged regions, both in the atmosphere or with one on the ground, temporarily neutralize themselves, causing the instantaneous release of an average of one gigajoule of energy. This discharge may produce a wide range of electromagnetic radiation, from heat created by the rapid movement of electrons, to brilliant flashes of visible light in the form of black-body radiation. Lightning causes thunder, a sound from the shock wave which develops as gases in the vicinity of the discharge experience a sudden increase in pressure. Sezen Aksu (; born Fatma Sezen Yıldırım; 13 July 1954) is a Turkish pop music singer, songwriter and producer who has sold over 40 million albums worldwide. Rıza Yıldırım (born May 6, 1987) is a European champion Turkish wrestler competing in the 97 kg division of freestyle wrestling. He is a member of Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyesi Spor Kulübü. Ramazan Yıldırım (born 7 September 1975) is a German-born Turkish former footballer and manager. Career As a player, Yıldırım spent three seasons in the 2. Bundesliga with Rot-Weiss Essen and Kickers Offenbach, as well as one season in the 3. Liga with Eintracht Braunschweig. Coaching career After retiring as a player Yıldırım became a youth coach at Eintracht Braunschweig. He was sacked by the club in January 2011 and subsequently took over Rot-Weiss Essen's reserve side in the summer of 2011. Murat Yıldırım is a Turkish actor. Early life Murat Yıldırım was born in Konya, Turkey. His father is of Kurdish origin and was a teacher of literature. Yıldırım's father speaks Turkish and Kurdish. His mother is of Arab descent and speaks Arabic as well, but Murat Yıldırım is neither fluent in Kurdish nor Arabic. Due to his father's job Yıldırım grew up between Konya and Adana. Hüseyin Yıldırım (born March 10, 1928) is a Turkish-American auto mechanic who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the United States for his courier role in the espionage activities of U.S. serviceman James Hall III during the Cold War era. Yıldırım was later pardoned and extradited to his homeland, where he was sentenced to 17 years in prison but served only one day.
