The county seat is Marysville, California, Marysville. Yuba County is included in the Yuba City, California, Yuba City, California Metropolitan statistical area, Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Sacramento, California, Sacramento–Roseville, California, Roseville, California Sacramento metropolitan area, Combined Statistical Area. The county is in the Central Valley (California), Central Valley region along the Feather River. Despite its name and proximity, Yuba City, California, Yuba City is in neighboring Sutter County, California, Sutter County, not Yuba County.
