Yorman Rodríguez
Yorman José Rodríguez (born August 15, 1992) is a Venezuelan former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cincinnati Reds for one season in 2014. Professional career The Cincinnati Reds signed Rodríguez, considered a five-tool player, as an international free agent during the summer of 2008 for a $2.5 million signing bonus. Rodríguez made his professional debut in 2009, and played in the Reds minor league system through the 2012 season, reaching as high as High–A with the Bakersfield Blaze. On November 19, 2012, the Reds added Rodríguez to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft. Rodriguez spent the entire 2013 season in the minors, splitting the season between the Double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos and Bakersfield, hitting a cumulative .259/.324/.427 on the year. An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter. These defenders are the left fielder, the center fielder, and the right fielder.
