The ''Yorkshire Evening Post'' (''YEP'') is a regional daily newspaper covering the City of Leeds. Founded in 1890 it is published by Yorkshire Post Newspapers, National World. Despite being having coverage and being sold across West Yorkshire the Yorkshire Evening Post traditionally provides close reporting on Leeds United F.C., Leeds United and Leeds Rhinos as well as the Yorkshire County Cricket Club team. The City of Leeds has two further widely circulated local papers, being the ''Wetherby News'' and the ''Gazette & Observer, Wharfedale and Airedale Observer''. Post Hill
Post Hill is a designated Leeds Nature Area on the western end of Farnley, Leeds, Farnley, and partly in Pudsey. It is situated mostly east of Pudsey Beck and Farnley Beck, between Wood Lane in the north and Troydale Lane in the south, and forms part of the West Leeds Country Park. The area of 28.04 hectares consists largely of a hillside covered in woodland and some grassland. Openings offer views across West Leeds, in particular from the top of the hill which at an altitude of about 125 m a.s.l. is one of the highest points in the local area. The site is protected by Fields in Trust through a legal "Deed of Dedication" safeguarding the future of the space as public recreation land for future generations to enjoy. Ilkley
Ilkley is a spa town and civil parish in the City of Bradford in West Yorkshire, in Northern England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, Ilkley civil parish includes the adjacent village of Ben Rhydding and is a ward within the City of Bradford. Mark Knopfler
Mark Freuder Knopfler OBE (born 12 August 1949) is a British musician. He was the lead guitarist, singer and songwriter of the rock band Dire Straits from 1977 to 1995, and he is the one of the two members who stayed during the band's existence, along with the bassist John Illsley. He pursued a solo career after the band dissolved, and is now an independent artist. Knopfler was born in Glasgow, and raised in Blyth, Northumberland, Blyth, near Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle.
