Yaakov Yitzhaki
Yaakov Yitzhaki (; ; September 1, 1846 – June 11, 1917) was a rabbi, scholar, Religious Zionism, religious Zionist and founder of the settlement of Be'er Ya'akov. Biography Yaakov Yitzhaki was born in Derbent into a family of Mountain Jews and received his religious education from his father, Rabbi Yitzhak ben Yaakov, and, like his father, at a yeshiva in Bila Tserkva.STMEGIYaakov Yitzhakovich Yitzhaki/ref> In 1868, when he was 22 years old, with the consent of the elders of the community, his father appointed him chief rabbi and Av Beit Din, religious judge of Derbent. Shlomo Yitzhaki (economist)
Shlomo Yitzhaki (; 17 January 1944 – 17 April 2023) was an Israeli economist and the Sam M. Cohodas Professor Emeritus of Agricultural economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. From 2002 to 2012 he served as the chief statistician and director of the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics. Life and career Yitzhaki was born on 17 January 1944. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from the Hebrew University in 1976. He spent a year as a visiting scholar at Harvard University, and then returned to Jerusalem as a lecturer in 1977. From 1981 to 1982 he worked as a research economist at the National Bureau of Economic Research. In 1982 he returned to academia as a senior lecturer at Hebrew University, where he remained until his death. He joined the faculty as an associate professor in 1990, and earned his tenure in 1993. Shlomo Yitzchaki (; ; ; 13 July 1105) was a French rabbi who authored comprehensive commentaries on the Talmud and Hebrew Bible. He is commonly known by the List of rabbis known by acronyms, Rabbinic acronym Rashi (). Avigdor Yitzhaki
Avigdor Yitzhaki (; 13 September 1949 – 5 April 2025) was an Israeli politician. He was a member of the Knesset for Kadima, having been the party's parliamentary group chairman and head of the coalition. He was the chairman of Friends of Schneider. On 2 May 2007, Yitzhaki requested that Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Olmert resign as soon as possible following the Winograd Commission's first report. Barak Itzhaki (or Itzchaki, ; born September 25, 1984) is an Israeli former footballer. He mostly played as a second striker, but could also play an attacking midfielder. Early life Itzhaki was born in Ashkelon, Israel, to a Jewish family. Career Itzhaki started his professional career with boyhood club Hapoel Ashkelon. During his first two seasons as a professional, Itzhaki won the Toto Cup Artzit twice. He was sold to Beitar Jerusalem and saw limited time under manager Eli Ohana. Tal Itzhaki (; born March 1, 1956) is an Israeli theatre designer and director of the Academy of Performing Arts, Tel Aviv, a translator of plays and prose into Hebrew. Biography Tal Itzhaki was born 1 March 1956 in Tel Aviv, Israel, to Dr Yedidya Itzhaki, architect and Professor Emeritus of Hebrew Literature at Bar-Ilan University and Rina Itzhaki, educator at the Kibbutzim College of Education.
