Yaniv Schulman
Yaniv "Nev" Schulman ( ; born September 26, 1984) is an American TV host and producer. He is best known for the 2010 documentary film ''Catfish'' and the follow-up TV series '' Catfish: The TV Show'' on MTV of which he is the host and executive producer. Early life Schulman was born in New York City to a Jewish family. He has an older brother Ariel Schulman who is an actor and filmmaker. Schulman started taking pictures and became involved with photography after having studied dance for five years. He attended Sarah Lawrence College, studying photography and dance from 2004 to 2006. Schulman admitted that he was expelled from Sarah Lawrence College after punching a female student whom he allegedly mistook for male. Career At age 19, he and his brother Ariel started a film and photography production company. Obvious Child
''Obvious Child'' is a 2014 American romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Gillian Robespierre (in her directorial debut) and stars Jenny Slate, Jake Lacy, Gaby Hoffmann and David Cross. The story follows Donna, a stand-up comedian, who has a drunken one-night stand with a man named Max after breaking up with her boyfriend. She subsequently finds out she is pregnant and decides to have an abortion. ''Obvious Child'' originated as a 2009 short film which was written by Robespierre, Anna Bean and Karen Maine, and also starred Slate in the main role. By making the film, Robespierre hoped to remove the stigma surrounding abortion and to correct what she perceived as a misrepresentation of unplanned pregnancy in earlier films. She finished the feature-length script in 2012. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 17, 2014, and was released in theaters on June 6, 2014. Artem Vladimirovich Chigvintsev (; born 12 June 1982) is a Russian-born American professional dancer, specializing in Latin dancing. Chigvintsev was a cast member of ''Burn the Floor'' where he performed both on Broadway and more recently in the West End in 2009. Chigvintsev joined ''Strictly Come Dancing'' in 2010 straight from ''Burn the Floor''. He won the show in his first year with his celebrity partner Kara Tointon. Early life Chigvintsev was born at Izhevsk, Udmurt Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, RSFSR, Soviet Union. He moved to the United States in 2003 and began dancing with champion ballroom dancer Giselle Peacock.
