The eighth X Games were held in Philadelphia in 15–19 August 2002. X Games
The X Games are an annual extreme sports event organized, produced and broadcast by ESPN. Coverage is also shown on ESPN's sister network, ABC. The inaugural X Games were held during the summer of 1995 in Providence and Newport, Rhode Island, United States. Participants compete to win bronze, silver, and gold medals, as well as prize money. Tommy Clowers (born September 2, 1972) is an American professional FMX (Freestyle Motocross) rider. At the 2000 X Games ( X Games VI), on August 18 at San Francisco, California, Clowers achieved the highest jump in Moto X Step Up, 10.67 m (39 ft) (Step Up World Record of 35 ft). He was undefeated in Moto X Step Up for three years in a row in 2000, 2001 and 2002, before FMX rider Matt Buyten defeated him at X Games IX (2003). Kenny Bartram
Kenny Bartram (born August 23, 1978) is an American professional freestyle motocross rider. He is from Stillwater, Oklahoma, hence his nickname "The Cowboy" (Oklahoma State University is located in Stillwater, their mascot is the cowboy and their colors are also orange, which Bartram usually wears). Before his career in FMX, he won many Oklahoma State Series MX Races. Out of all other riders, he currently has the most wins, 57 in all. Bartam has suffered plenty of injuries, including 22 broken bones, 7 knocked out teeth, a steel plate in the jaw, and a damaged blood vessel in the brain (according to himself on an interview on the podcast, "M80" on FuelTV). Jeremy Carter
Jeremy Carter (born February 22, 1972) is an American actor and comedian best known for his work on the '' Superego'' podcast. Career Carter began in the Kansas City improv scene, starting with ComedySportz in 1992. Carter is a founding member of Der Monkenpickel, which is an improv group out of Lawrence, Kansas that also featured Jason Sudeikis. Carter has also performed with iO West and D.U.H.
