NCT (; an acronym for Neo Culture Technology) is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment and introduced in January 2016. The group consists of 23 members and divided into four different sub-units: NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV. WayV ( zh, s=威神V, hp=WēiShén V; an initialism for We are your Vision) is a Chinese boy band and the fourth overall sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, managed by SM Entertainment's Chinese sub-label, Label V. NCT 127 () is the first fixed and second overall sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, formed and managed by SM Entertainment. The current lineup consists of nine active members: Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Mark, and Haechan. NCT 127 are known for their experimental hip hop and R&B-based music and energetic choreographies. ''NCT 2020 Resonance'' is the second studio album by South Korean boy band NCT, an unlimited group project under the management of SM Entertainment. Similar to their previous release '' NCT 2018 Empathy'', ''NCT 2020 Resonance'' is part of the "NCT 2020" project; which saw all current NCT members from several units collaborating on a full-length release. Mark Lee (born August 2, 1999), professionally known as Mark, is a Canadian rapper, singer, dancer and songwriter based in South Korea. He is a member of the South Korean boy band NCT and its fixed sub-units NCT 127 and NCT Dream, as well as the South Korean supergroup SuperM. Career 2012–2016: Pre-debut In 2012, Mark joined SM Entertainment as a trainee after passing the SM Global Audition in Vancouver, Canada. Cultural technology () is a system used by South Korean talent agencies to promote K-pop culture throughout the world as part of the Korean Wave. The system was developed by Lee Soo-man, founder of talent agency and record company SM Entertainment. Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul ( th, ชิตพล ลี้ชัยพรกุล; ; ; born February 27, 1996), known professionally as Ten ( th, เตนล์, ko, 텐), is a Thai singer and dancer based in South Korea and China. ''The Vision'' is the debut single album by the Chinese boy band WayV, released in January 2019.Despite its release only containing three tracks totaling ten minutes, it was marketed as an extended play rather than a single. It was released by Label V for digital download on January 17, 2019. The EP marks the first NCT unit to debut since NCT Dream in 2016, and the debut of members Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang. ''NCT #127'' is the first extended play by NCT 127, the multi-national and Seoul-based sub unit of the unlimited boy band NCT. Following its announcement on July 1, SM Entertainment released it on July 10, 2016, with physical release on July 11, 2016. Lee Soo-man (, born 18 June 1952) is a South Korean business executive and record producer who is best known for being the founder of SM Entertainment, a multinational South Korean entertainment company based in Seoul. He has also been referred to as the "president of culture", as one of the pioneers of the Korean Wave. Lee debuted as a singer in 1971 while he was a student at Seoul National University. In 1989, he founded SM Entertainment, which has since become one of the largest entertainment companies in the country.
