''While We Are Young'' ( zh, link=no, Z世代) is a 20 episode Singaporean drama produced and telecast on MediaCorp Channel 8. The show aired at 9 pm on weekdays and had a repeat telecast at 8 am the following day. The drama series is a production to commemorate 35 years of locally produced Chinese-language dramas and in appreciation to the local educators in celebration of Teacher's Day. It stars Zoe Tay, Rebecca Lim, Zhang Zhenhuan, Terence Cao, Denise Camillia, Zong Zijie and Chantalle Ng. The show featured several "second-generation" stars who are children of veteran artistes, including Calvert Tay (son of Hong Huifang and Zheng Geping), Chantalle Ng (daughter of Lin Meijiao and her ex-husband former actor Huang Yiliang), Chen Yixin (daughter of Xiang Yun and Edmund Chen), Marcus Guo (son of host Guo Liang), and Shalynn Tsai (daughter of Chen Xiuhuan). Zoe Tay
Zoe Tay (; born 10 January 1968) is a Singaporean actress and former model. She has been referred to as the "Queen of Caldecott Hill" and "Ah Jie" (Top Actress) by the local media since the rise of her popularity in the 1990s. She is one of the first batch of actors to receive the Star Awards All-Time Favourite Artiste award, along with Li Nanxing and Chew Chor Meng. Guo Liang (actor)
Guo Liang (born 11 November 1970) is a Chinese-born Singaporean actor and television host. Career Guo graduated from the Shanghai Drama Institute and moved to Singapore during the 1990s to join the Television Corporation of Singapore (predecessor of MediaCorp). He joined TCS in 1994. He joined SPH MediaWorks in late 2000 but returned to MediaCorp in 2005 when the two companies merged. Although trained as an actor, he is mostly known in Singapore as a presenter of MediaCorp Channel 8 current affairs programme '' Hello Singapore'' (狮城有约) but he stop as a presenter as he will return to MediaCorp as a full-time artiste and host of the Star Awards. Star Awards 2018 (also SA2018SG, Chinese: 红星大奖2018) is a television award ceremony which is held in Singapore. The Post Party and Ceremony Awards was broadcast live on 22 April 2018. A total of 15 awards were handed out during the ceremony, among which the Special Achievement Award, an award given out to a celebrity in recognition to meritorious contribution, returned after a 15-year absence, with the award last presented in 2003, in the place of All-Time Favourite Artiste, which was not presented this year, and the third ceremony overall, after 2007 and 2013. Li Wenhai (, born ) is a veteran Singaporean actor. He has acted in various Singaporean television dramas. Career In 1981, Li joined Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC). In August 1991, after filming ''Jealousy Potion 100'', Li applied to have an early termination to his acting contract with SBC and to transfer to the voice dubbing department. After eight months, in April 1992, he resigned from SBC. After leaving SBC, Li opened a shop with friends selling Buddhist equipment at Balestier Shopping Center.
