Wendy Higgins
Wendy Higgins (born May 15, 1977) is an American ''USA Today'' and ''NY Times'' bestselling author of romantic fantasy and paranormal fiction for young adults. Wendy is a voice of hybrid publishing, having been published traditionally and independently. Personal life Wendy Higgins (née Wendy Hornback) was born in Anchorage, Alaska. After graduating from Potomac Senior High School in Dumfries, Virginia, she attended Longwood College for three semesters. Higgins then transferred to George Mason University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, and went on to study at Radford University, where she earned a master's degree in Education. Higgins taught 2 years of 9th and 12th grade English before becoming a full-time author. Potomac High School (Virginia)
Potomac Senior High School is a public secondary school in unincorporated Prince William County, Virginia, United States; just outside Dumfries. Potomac Senior High School, which serves the nearby incorporated town of Dumfries was established in 1981. When the school first opened there were only freshmen and the students went to school. Originally the campus was located at 15941 Cardinal Drive ( Woodbridge address), what is now the Dr. A. J. Ferlazzo Building. A year and a half later the current school was opened up and the freshmen and sophomores moved there during the Christmas break. The current school is at 3401 Panther Pride Drive (Dumfries, Virginia address). Panther Pride Drive was originally named "Four Year Trail."
