Wang Yongqing
Wang Yongqing (; born September 1959) is a Chinese politician. He has, since 2013 until March 2018, served as the Secretary-General of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Chinese Communist Party (minister-rank), and since 2008, as a Deputy Secretary-General of the State Council. Between 2012 and 2013, he served as the General Office chief of the Central Institutional Organization Commission. Wang spent most of his post-Cultural Revolution career in the State Council's Rule of Law Office. Career Wang was born in Guixi County, Jiangxi province. He worked in a local crafts factory as a labourer, then an elementary school teacher; he completed high school after the Cultural Revolution. Guo Shengkun (; born 16 October 1954) is a retired Chinese politician and business executive. He was the Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Chinese Communist Party, a member of the CCP Politburo, and a secretary of the CCP Secretariat, between 2017 and 2022. Previously Guo served as Minister of Public Security, State Councilor, Communist Party secretary of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and General Manager of Aluminum Corporation of China, a major state-owned enterprise. The 18th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party was elected by the 18th National Congress on 15 November 2012, and sat in plenary sessions until the communing of the 19th National Congress in 2017. It was formally proceeded by the 17th Central Committee. The committee is composed of full members and alternate members. A member has voting rights, while an alternate does not.
