Wanessa Godói Camargo Buaiz (born 28 December 1982), known professionally as Wanessa, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter. Early life Camargo is the daughter of Brazilian sertanejo singer Zezé Di Camargo, from the duo Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano, and businesswoman Zilú Godói. Her father worked on the Brazilian version of the musical ''Cats'' and was part of the group of dancers known as Zezé Di Camargo and Luciano. ''W'' is the fourth studio album by Brazilian recording artist Wanessa, released on August 1, 2005. It was released on August 8, 2005, through Sony BMG, followed by a release in other countries three years later on RCA Records. After fulfilling several appointments on her schedule, such as the release of her first live album ''Transparente'' and appearances on television, the singer had more time to record her fourth album.
