WOTH-CD
WOTH-CD, virtual and UHF digital channel 20, was a low-powered, Class A television station licensed to Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Owned by Elliott B. Block's Block Broadcasting, it was a sister station to WBQC-LD (channel 25). WOTH's transmitter was located along Symmes Street, just south of East McMillan Street in Cincinnati (shared with ABC affiliate WCPO-TV, channel 9). History WOTH was previously branded as "The Other Channel." It began on June 7, 1994 as W35BA, channel 35, broadcasting programming from America's Store that had previously aired on WBQC. It soon moved to channel 39, becoming W39CG. In 2001, the station became WOTH-LP and moved to channel 38. WOTH adopted a simplified version of WBQC's old "25 TV" logo. Urban America Television (UATV) was an over-the-air television broadcast network in the United States targeted towards Black Americans. According to the company's website, the network had 70 affiliate stations. UATV claimed to have had a reach of 22 million households in the United States. It was a successor to the earlier American Independent Television network and began broadcasting December 3, 2001. Created and developed by Fred Hutton (among others) the early programming featured independent produced programs, along with 1930s and 1940s public domain race films. In most telecommunications organizations, a virtual channel is a method of remapping the ''program number'' as used in H.222 Program Association Tables and Program Mapping Tables to a channel number that can be entered via digits on a receiver's remote control.
