Charles Wyrick
Charles A. Wyrick is an American politician from the U.S. state of Oklahoma. He served in the Oklahoma Senate, representing District 1, which includes Craig, Delaware and Ottawa counties. He served as Democratic whip. He was re-elected in 2008 and 2012. He was forced to retire in 2016 due to term limits set forth in the Oklahoma Constitution. Wyrick started his family dairy in 1980 and is currently raising dairy cows. In 1990, he started a heavy equipment contracting business specializing in soil conservation work. He served on the board of directors of the Ottawa County Conservation District from 1999 through 2004. Political career Charles Wyrick was elected to office in 2004 and authored legislation in his first term to require convicted sex offenders to wear a Global Positioning system upon their release from incarceration. Jimmy Wyrick
Jimmy Ray Wyrick (born December 31, 1976) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League. He played college football at Minnesota. Born in Antioch, California, Wyrick grew up in DeSoto, Texas and graduated from DeSoto High School in 1995. At the University of Minnesota, Wyrick redshirted his true freshman season, played at wide receiver for the Minnesota Golden Gophers in 1996, before switching to defensive back for his last two seasons in 1997 and 1999. He sat out the 1998 season due to a foot injury. He was signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2000 and played for the Lions from 2000 to 2003. Wyrick also played for the Miami Dolphins from 2003 to 2004. Mabel Martin Wyrick (9 March 1913 – 12 October 2003) was an American writer. Her published books include ''If Quilts Could Talk... I'd Listen'', ''Tales of the Rails'', ''How to Bury a Drifter'', ''The Ultimate Irony'', ''Factual Folklore'', and ''Land Beneath the Lake''. Her work has also been published in collections of Appalachian writing. Wyrick wrote weekly Column (newspaper), newspaper columns for several years called "If Quilts Could Talk ... I'd Listen" and "Land Beneath the Lake". Travis Wyrick is an American music producer and owner of Lakeside Studios in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is particularly known for his work with bands such as P.O.D., Pillar, 10 Years, Nine Lashes, and Disciple, and artists such as TobyMac and Dolly Parton. Throughout his career, he has produced over 30 No. 1 radio singles. Prior to becoming a producer, Wyrick was lead guitarist with the band Sage.
