Wiltenburg
Wiltenburg is a historic municipality and former free manor (''vrije heerlijkheid'') in the Dutch province of South Holland, on the southeastern edge of the Reeuwijkse Plassen. It historically consists of one estate, surrounded by 7 hectares of swampy farmland. History When the municipal system was introduced in the early 19th century, Wiltenburg was not formally administered by any province. An old provincial boundary stone was located in nearby Oukoop, marking the border between Holland and Utrecht. Until 1820 Wiltenburg was (provisionally) administered by Sluipwijk, after that the lord resident of the estate claimed his rights to a municipality. For one year Wiltenburg was a separate municipality, however the original declaration of the establishment of the free manor went missing. Being unable to produce the document, the lord resident was deprived of his municipal rights and in 1821 Wiltenburg became part of Sluipwijk again. Bodegraven-Reeuwijk () is a municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland with a population of in . It was established by a merger of Bodegraven and Reeuwijk on 1 January 2011. The municipality covers of which is water. Sluipwijk
Sluipwijk is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the former municipality of Reeuwijk, and lies about 3 km northeast of Gouda. The villages is surrounded by the lakes of the Reeuwijkse Plassen. The village was first mentioned between 1280 and 1287 as slupewiic. The etymology is unclear. Hekendorp
Hekendorp is a village in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is a part of the municipality of Oudewater, and lies about 6 km east of Gouda. Hekendorp was a separate municipality between 1817 and 1964, when it merged with Driebruggen. During this period, the area was part of the province South Holland. In 1857, the municipality of Oukoop was added to Hekendorp, even though the two former municipalities did not border each other. Reeuwijk () is a former municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The former municipality covers an area of 50.11 km2 (of which 11.89 km2 is water). Since January 1, 2011 Reeuwijk merged with Bodegraven to Bodegraven-Reeuwijk. Eembrugge is a hamlet and former city on the river Eem, east of Baarn, in the Netherlands. It received city rights between 1336 en 1340, but was destroyed in 1527.
