Will Taggart
Will Taggart is a guitarist and a former School of Rock All Star. In 2014, the episode "May Be the Last Time" of ''True Blood'' on HBO featured the song "Open the Gates" co-written by Taggart and Derrick Schneider. They created "Open the Gates" at the age of 14 while playing in the hard rock band Rapid Fire. Taggart was the lead guitarist of Rapid Fire, which performed at the 2010 Bamboozle Festival at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Early life and education After growing up in Summit, New Jersey, Taggart graduated from Morristown-Beard School in Morristown, New Jersey in 2013. During his studies, he performed in the school's Contemporary Music Workshop. Taggart served as co-president of the workshop during his senior year. School of Rock is a music education program. This for-profit educational company operates and franchises after-school music instruction schools in the United States, Chile, Canada, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, South Africa, Mexico, Australia, Paraguay, Taiwan, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, and Uruguay. New Eyes for the Needy is a non-profit organization started in 1932 as New Eyes (incorporated 1948) and based in Short Hills, New Jersey, which provides people in the United States with eyeglasses and sends recycled eyeglasses to needy people overseas. History The organization was founded by Julia Lawrence Terry in 1932 in Short Hills, New Jersey. Terry worked in the Red Cross during the Great Depression and realized the need for eyeglasses in the US. Area residents donated basement space for sorting eyeglasses. By the end of the 1940s, the organization was receiving an average of 1,194 glasses monthly. "Old age glasses" were sent to hospitals in New York City and nursing homes in Kentucky. Gathering Of The Vibes
Gathering of the Vibes (often abbreviated as GOTV) was an annual four-day music, camping and arts festival that celebrated the Grateful Dead and showcased a diverse variety of music. Over the course of the event, styles would often include funk, bluegrass, rock, jam band, jazz, reggae, R&B and folk music. Beginning in 1996, GOTV brought many bands to the New England area during the summer season. There existed two main stages which would alternate bands so that festival-goers could experience music all day and into the night. A short stroll down the beach was the "Green Vibes Stage", which showcased some of the Northeast's finest talent. Morrison is a home rule municipality in Jefferson County, Colorado, United States. The population was 396 at the 2020 census.
