WhoMadeWho
WhoMadeWho is a Copenhagen-based experimental pop trio, who formed in 2003. The band consists of jazz guitarist Jeppe Kjellberg, drummer Tomas Barfod and singer/bassist Tomas Høffding. Career The band released several 12-inches on German disco label Gomma Records including ''Out the Door'' and ''Space to Rent'', culminating in their self-titled debut album ''WhoMadeWho'' in 2005. In 2009, they released their second album ''The Plot'', the third album ''Knee Deep'' was released in 2011 followed by ''Brighter'' in 2012. The next album ''Dreams'' was released in 2014, and the latest ''Through The Walls'' in 2018. As a live band, WhoMadeWho has played alongside genre-bending contemporaries Daft Punk, Soulwax, Hot Chip, Justice and LCD Soundsystem. After touring together Hot Chip asked to remix their single "TV Friend", and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age has covered "Space for Rent". Tomas Barfod
Tomas Barfod is a Danish drummer and electronic music producer. He currently spends his time between Los Angeles and Copenhagen. While in LA, he works as a producer and currently has tracks on several albums. Biography Barfod began playing drums when he was ten years old, and has been producing as a DJ since the 1990s. He began playing with Kasper Bjorke as the duo Filur in 1999, and in 2003 founded the group WhoMadeWho with Jeppe Kjellberg and Tomas Høfting. Barfod is the drummer for WhoMadeWho. Soulwax
Soulwax are a Belgian electronic band and DJ/production collective from Ghent, who formed in 1995. Centred around brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, other current members include Igor and Laima Cavalera, and Stefaan Van Leuven. The group first rose to prominence following the release of their album '' Much Against Everyone's Advice'', and have released five studio albums to date. The Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (), commonly abbreviated as FIB, is an annual music festival that takes place in the town of Benicàssim, in the Valencian Community, Spain. It focuses mainly on pop, rock, and electronica artists, as well as short films, fashion shows and art. The festival begins on the second Tuesday of July, which is when the camping grounds open - although music officially commences Thursday afternoon. Namosh (born 8 May 1981), also known as Erkan Arslan, Namosh E. Arslan or Namosh Erkan Arslan, is a German singer, musician, performance artist, actor and DJ of Kurdish descent. Merrill Nisker (born 11 November 1966), better known by her stage name Peaches, is a Canadian electroclash musician and producer. Born in Ontario, Peaches began her musical career in the 1990s as part of a folk music, folk trio, Mermaid Cafe. In 1995, she established a rock band, the Shit.
