Jérémy Bana Owona (; 30 January 1994 – 17 May 2025), known professionally as Werenoi (), was a French rapper. He was voted the male revelation of the year at the ''Les Flammes'' ceremony in 2023. Werenoi held the number 1 position in album sales in France in 2023 and 2024. He released four studio albums and two EPs. Early life Jérémy Bana Owona was born on 30 January 1994 in Melun. Little was known about Owona's personal life, due to his desire to keep his personal life and his family matters private. He grew up in Montreuil in a family of Cameroonian origin. He is related to the rapper Zequin. Musical career Werenoi released his first song, "Guadalajara", in February 2021, under the name We Renoi. During the year he released several other singles, including "Señor de los Gallos", featuring Lacrim. Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital (, ) is a charitable hospital in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. It is part of the AP-HP Sorbonne University Hospital Group and a teaching hospital of Sorbonne University. History The Salpêtrière was originally a gunpowder factory (saltpeter being a constituent of gunpowder), but in 1656 at the direction of Louis XIV, it was converted into a ''hospice'' for the poor women of Paris as part of the General Hospital of Paris. This main hospice was for women who were learning disabled, mentally ill, or epileptic, as well as poor. In 1657 it was incorporated with the hospice of the Pitié designed specifically for beggars' children and orphans. Sheets for hospice and military clothing were produced there by the children. Between 1663 and 1673, 240 of the women at the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospice were sent on a mission to populate the Americas and help build New France.
