WBZ-FM (98.5 FM) is a commercial sports radio station licensed to Boston, Massachusetts, serving Greater Boston and much of surrounding New England. Owned by the Beasley Broadcast Group, WBZ-FM is the Boston affiliate for Fox Sports Radio; the flagship station for the New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, and New England Revolution radio networks; and the radio home of Fred Toettcher, Scott Zolak, Mike Felger, Tony Massarotti, and Bob Socci. Boston Celtics Radio Network
The Boston Celtics Radio Network is a radio network that broadcasts Boston Celtics basketball games with a flagship station of WBZ-FM (98.5). Carried in 5 of the 6 New England states, the network has 27 stations (17 on AM, 10 on FM, plus 4 FM translators). Certain of these stations, including flagship WBZ-FM, also have commitments to carry games of the New England Patriots (football) and Boston Bruins (hockey), and Celtics games may be pre-empted. Mike Felger
Michael Alan Felger (born August 6, 1969) is a sports radio talk show host on WBZ-FM in Boston, co-hosting "Felger and Massarotti" with Tony Massarotti, a former columnist for the ''Boston Herald''. He is also a television host for NBC Sports Boston, where he talks about sports as a co-host of the weeknight show "Boston Sports Tonight" with Michael Holley and the host of pregame and postgame coverage for Boston Bruins (with Tony Amonte). Career Originally from Milwaukee, Felger graduated from Boston University in 1992. Upon graduating, he worked as an intern with the Boston Herald. He later joined the paper permanently and became the lead reporter for the Boston Bruins from 1997 to 1999. Fred Toettcher
Fred Toettcher (born January 16, 1975), also known as Fred Toucher, is an American radio personality with a sports radio talk show on WBZ-FM in Boston. Toettcher is the co-host of ''Toucher and Hardy'' with Rob "Hardy" Poole. He previously co-hosted '' The Toucher and Rich Show'' with Rich Shertenlieb from 2006 to 2023, winning a Marconi Award as Major Market Personality of the Year in 2016. Their 17-year partnership ended in November 2023 when Shertenlieb left the program. Career A native of Detroit, Toettcher graduated from Rollins College in 1997. Scott Zolak
Scott David Zolak (born December 13, 1967) is an American broadcaster and former professional American football, football player. He played quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons, primarily with the New England Patriots. Over the course of his career, he played in 55 games, with 7 starts, for the Patriots and Miami Dolphins, completed 124 of 248 passes for 1,314 yards, threw eight touchdowns and seven interceptions, and finished his career with a passer rating of 64.8. A graduate of Ringgold High School (Pennsylvania), Ringgold High School and the University of Maryland, College Park, University of Maryland, Zolak was selected 84th in the 1991 NFL draft by the New England Patriots.
