Vrbica Stefanov
Vrbica Stefanov ( mk, Врбица Стефанов, ; born December 19, 1973) is a retired Macedonian professional basketball player and later was a head coach of Macedonian basketball team Kožuv. Professional career After starting his basketball career with Tikveš, Stefanov played six seasons with MZT Aerodrom (1992–1998), then passed to Rabotnički (1998–1999), Karsiyaka Izmir (1999–2000, Turkey), AEK Athens (2000–2001, Greece). He then remained for four years in Italy, in the Montepaschi Siena (2001–2005), where he reached a Euroleague Final Four. He has won the 1998–99 Macedonian National Championship with Rabotnički, the 2001 Greek National Cup with AEK Athens, the 2002 Saporta Cup with Montepaschi Siena, the 2003–04 Italian National Championship with Montepaschi Siena, and the 2005-06 Turkish National Championship with Ülkerspor. Eurobasket 2007
The 2007 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2007, was the 35th FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe, which also served as Europe qualifier for the 2008 Summer Olympics, giving a berth to the champion and runner-up teams (or to the third-placed team in case Spain should reach the final). It was held in Spain between 3 September and 16 September 2007. Sixteen national teams entered the event under the auspices of FIBA Europe, the sport's regional governing body. KK Kožuv
KK Kožuv ( mk, КК Кожув) is a basketball club based in Gevgelija, North Macedonia. They currently play in the Macedonian First League. History The club was founded in 1955. Kozhuv's biggest success came in 2013, they made the Macedonian First League playoff final but ended up losing against MZT Skopje Aerodrom. Kozhuv reached the Macedonian Cup Final in 2015. The lost the final match against the heavy-weight Rabotnichki 66-74 .Kozhuv also competed in BIBL league for 6 seasons. They reached the 3rd place twice in seasons 2015 and 2016. Branko Crvenkovski ( mk, Бранко Црвенковски, pronounced ; born 12 October 1962) is a Macedonian politician who served as Prime Minister of Macedonia from 1992 to 1998 and again from 2002 to 2004, and as President of Macedonia from 2004 to 2009. He was also leader of the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia. Background and earlier career Crvenkovski was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, then part of Yugoslavia. In 1986 he obtained a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Automation from the School of Electrical Engineering at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He was elected member of the Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Macedonia at the first multi-party elections in Yugoslavia in 1990 after serving for several years as head of department at the Semos company in Skopje. The Asociación de Clubes Españoles de Baloncesto (Spanish Basketball Clubs Association), more commonly known as the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), is a national sports association responsible for administering the main professional basketball league in Spain - the Liga Endesa. The organisation was founded in 1982. Competition The 18 member clubs of the ACB are grouped into the Liga Endesa. In any given season a club plays each of the others in the same division twice, once at their home stadium and once at that of their opponents. This makes for a total of 34 games played each season in Liga Endesa. Clubs gain one point for a win, no points for a defeat. If points are equal, the head-to-head records determine the winner. If still equal, the point difference and then points scored become the deciding factors. The Greek Basketball Cup or Hellenic Basketball Cup ( Greek: Κύπελλο Ελλάδος καλαθοσφαίρισης ανδρών) is the top-tier level annual pro basketball national cup competition in Greece. It is organized by the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.). History and format There were no official nation-wide Greek Cup competitions prior to the 1975–76 season.
