Villa Dálmine
Club Villa Dálmine is an Argentine football club from Campana, Buenos Aires Province. The team currently plays in Primera B Nacional, the second level of the Argentine football league system. Due to a financial crisis, the club was named "Club Atlético Campana" between 1993 and February 2000, after which it reassumed its original and current name. History At the end of the 1950s the "Dálmine SAFTA" factory, sited in the city of Campana, Buenos Aires Province, founded a social club with the purpose to allow its employees to practise sports. The club was named "Villa Dálmine", establishing its first location on Chiclana street of that city. The color adopted for the club was violet, therefore the club and its fans have been familiarly called "El Viola" (an expression derived from the word "violeta" in Spanish) since then. Campana, Buenos Aires Province
Campana is a city in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is the seat of the Campana Partido. It is located about from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, on the right-hand margin of the Paraná River. Its population is 94,333 inhabitants as per the . Campana and Zárate make up an important industrial region. The city is linked to Zárate and the Zárate-Brazo Largo Bridge (and from there to Mesopotamia) by Provincial Route 6. José Basualdo
José Horacio Basualdo (born 20 June 1963) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Club career Basualdo won several Argentine and international titles with both Vélez Sársfield and Boca Juniors. International career Basualdo played 31 matches for the Argentina national team between 1989 and 1995 and played for the Argentina national football team in the 1990 and 1994 World Cups. At the 1990 FIFA World Cup, in the Round of 16 match against Brazil, Basualdo broke clean through on goal, only to be hacked down by Brazil's captain Ricardo Gomes, who was duly sent off. Raúl Ernesto Cardozo (born 28 October 1967) is a former Argentine football defender who is one of the most important players in the history of Vélez Sársfield. Career Cardozo, nicknamed ''Pacha'' was born in Morón and started his playing career with Vélez Sársfield during the 1986–87 season. He went on to play over 350 games for the club. He played during the golden era of the club in the mid-1990s when they won 9 major titles. Roberto Carlos Monserrat (born 13 September 1968 in Córdoba) is an Argentine former football midfielder. He played for the Argentina national team and won several major championships with River Plate. Career Monserrat started his playing career in 1989 with Belgrano de Córdoba in the Argentine 2nd division. In 1991 the club won promotion to the Argentine Primera. Pedro Antonio Troglio (born 28 July 1965) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is the current manager of Honduran club CD Olimpia Playing career During his career as a footballer, Troglio played for River Plate, as well as at the 1990 FIFA World Cup with Argentina, where he scored a goal against the USSR. He then spent the main part of his career in Italy, playing four seasons in Serie A (for Hellas Verona, Lazio and Ascoli) and two in Serie B.
