Viimsi JK
Viimsi JK, or simply as Viimsi, is a football club based in Haabneeme, Viimsi Parish, Estonia. They currently play in the Esiliiga, the second-highest division in the Estonian football. History Viimsi JK was founded in 2016, when HÜJK Emmaste, a club founded in 2000 that represented the Hiiumaa island, and Viimsi MRJK, a club which focused on youth football and was founded in 2007 by Martin Reim, merged. The new club inherited Emmaste's league spot and most senior players, while youth players, management and the stadium were provided by MRJK. In 2021, Viimsi JK finished first in Esiliiga B and gained promotion to Esiliiga The Esiliiga is the second division in the Estonian football league system. The Esiliiga is ranked below the Meistriliiga and above the Esiliiga B. Martin Reim
Martin Reim (born 14 May 1971) is an Estonian football manager and former professional player. Reim played as a central midfielder for Lõvid, Sport Tallinn, Norma, Flora, KTP and the Estonia national team. He is Estonia's most capped player of all time with 157 appearances, and was the most capped European player from August 2007 until December 2009, when he was surpassed by Latvia's Vitālijs Astafjevs. Reim is also the most capped player never to have played in a major tournament. Reim was named Estonian Footballer of the Year in 1995 and won the Estonian Silverball award three times, in 1995, 1997, and 1999. In 2011, he received the Order of the White Star for his services to Estonia. In 2007, Reim opened a football academy (''Martin Reimi Jalgpallikool''). 2010–11 Estonian Cup
2010–11 Estonian Cup is the twenty-first season of the Estonian football knockout tournament organized by the Estonian Football Association. On 10 May 2011, FC Flora Tallinn defeated JK Narva Trans in the final to win the cup and qualify for the second qualifying round of the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League. 2018 II Liiga
The 2018 II liiga was the 24th season of the II liiga, fourth-highest league for association football clubs in Estonia. II Liiga North/East 2018 season 2018 II N/E Liiga consists of 14 different teams. Nine of them remain the same, two were promoted from III Liiga North, one from III Liiga South and two were relegated from higher divisions. Promoted teams were Põhja-Tallinna JK Volta, Tartu JK Welco II and Tartu JK Tammeka III and relegated teams were JK Sillamäe Kalev and Raasiku FC Joker. These teams replaced Tartu FC Merkuur (dissolved), Tallinna JK Legion, Võru FC Helios and Lasnamäe FC Ajax (promoted) and Tallinna JK Legion II (transferred to II S/W Liiga). There were two name changes as well: Narva United FC is now JK Narva Trans II and Tartu JK Tammeka U19's new name is Tartu JK Tammeka III. 2017–18 Estonian Cup
The 2017–18 Estonian Cup was the 28th season of the Estonian main domestic football knockout tournament. FCI Levadia won their ninth title after defeating Flora in the final. The winner of the Cup were to qualify for the first qualifying round of the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League, but as FCI Levadia were already qualified the spot passed to Narva Trans. 2017 Esiliiga B
The 2017 Esiliiga B was the 5th season of the Esiliiga B, third-highest Estonian league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2013. The season began on 1 March 2017. Teams Of the 10 participating teams 5 remain following the 2016 Esiliiga B. The 2016 champions Kuressaare and runners-up Elva were promoted to Esiliiga, while 9th place Flora U19 and 10th place Tulevik II were relegated. For this season those five teams will be replaced by the Esiliiga relegated Vändra Vaprus, Kohtla-Järve JK Järve and Nõmme Kalju U21 and II Liiga promoted Keila and Paide Linnameeskond U21. The 3rd placed Welco managed to earn a promotion, winning the promotion play-off, while 8th placed Viimsi remained in the league by winning the relegation play-off. The 2015–16 Estonian Cup was the 26th season of the Estonian main domestic football knockout tournament. The cup holders, Nõmme Kalju, were knocked out in the Quarter-Finals by Sillamäe Kalev. Flora won their seventh title after defeating JK Sillamäe Kalev 3–0 in the final. The 2015 Esiliiga B was the 3rd season of the Esiliiga B, the third-highest Estonian league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2013. The season started on 4 March 2015 and concluded on 8 November 2015. Starbunker won the league, finishing with 81 points and were promoted to the Esiliiga. It was their first Esiliiga B title in history. Järve finished 2nd and were promoted to the Esiliiga. Sillamäe Kalev II finished 3rd and qualified to the promotion play-offs but subsequently withdrew. Puuma finished 8th and qualified to the relegation play-offs but were beaten by Welco 2–5 on aggregate and relegated to the II liiga. Ararat TTÜ and Flora III were the bottom two teams and were relegated to the II liiga. The 2014–15 Estonian Cup was the 25th season of the Estonia's most prestigious football knockout tournament. The defending champions Levadia were eliminated after a walkover loss against 4 tier club in the third round as they fielded an unregistered player.
