''Video Gag'' (pronounced ''vee-day-oh gag'') is a French television series that airs weekly on French broadcast channel TF1. It is essentially a French version of "America's Funniest Home Videos" or the British " You've been framed!" and uses hilarious videos sent in by viewers. Although the videos are primarily French in origin, it also uses other videos from other countries on occasion. Videos Gag has two hosts: Sebastien Follin, (who as of 2005 also gives the weather on the TF1 news) and Olivia Adriaco, a famous French model and TV personality. ''America's Funniest Home Videos'', also called ''America's Funniest Videos'' (abbreviated as ''AFV''), is an American video clip television series on ABC, based on the Japanese variety show ''Fun TV with Kato-chan and Ken-chan''. The show features humorous homemade videos that are submitted by viewers. The most common videos feature unintentional physical comedy, pets or children and some staged pranks. Originally airing as a special in 1989, it later debuted as a regular weekly series in 1990. The show was hosted by comedian Bob Saget for the 1989 special and the first eight seasons of the series incarnation. After Saget's retirement from hosting in 1997, John Fugelsang and Daisy Fuentes later took over as co-host for its ninth and tenth seasons. After two years of being shown as occasional specials, hosted by various actors and comedians such as D. L. ''You've Been Framed!'' is a British television series where viewers can contribute to the programme with their humorous home movies for the entertainment of others. It is produced by ITV Studios and comedian Harry Hill has been providing narration to the programme since 2004. The series began in 1990, and is currently in its 31st series. History The show's format is based on the Japanese show ''Fun TV with Kato-chan and Ken-chan'' (1986 debut), which was also the basis for ''America's Funniest Home Videos'' (1989 debut). The show is also similar in format to a number of other shows worldwide, such as ''Australia's Funniest Home Video Show'' (1991 debut). In a deal with various foreign producers of similar shows, many imported clips are used, in exchange for home-grown videos from the United Kingdom. Alexandre Debanne
Alexandre Debanne (born 8 April 1960) is a French television presenter. Radio career Alexandre Debanne began his career at age 20 on FR3 Radio Centre (Bourges) and then with local radio stations. He became one of the famous radio presenters of CFM, one of the first local stations of Bourges that ended ony after one year of existence. He then came back to Bourges to create another local station named Diabolo FM (later Vibration). He later became one of the most famous radio presenters of NRJ in the 1980s. From February 2007 to January 2008, he presented the program ''Debout les chéries'' on Chérie FM in direct every morning from Monday to Friday.
