Victory SC
Victory Sportif Club, commonly known as Victory, is a Haitian professional football club based in Port-au-Prince. History Early years Victory Sportif Club was founded by Augustin R. Viau on 7 March 1945. They were affiliated in 1947 by the FHF and assigned to the second division where they won the league promoting themselves to the first division for 1948. Their first win came against Melbourne ( Bel Air) by the score of 2–0. On 16 January 1948, Victory played their first match in the top-tier division that ended in defeat to Racing by 1–0 (by goal of Antoine Tassy). Golden years (1955–1965) During this decade, Victory gained a leading role in the league, national team and even internationally; a credit to a major change in the style of play of Victory led by the technical direction of Michel Alerte (alias "Sonson"). Stade Sylvio Cator
The Stade Sylvio Cator is a multi-purpose stadium in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. It is currently used mostly for association football matches, and is turfed with artificial turf. History The stadium bears the name of Haitian Olympic medalist and footballer Sylvio Cator. It was named after him in 1952. Before then the stadium was called the ''Parc Leconte''. and then the ''Stade Paul-Magloire''. It is where the Haiti national football team play its home games. It has hosted the 1973 CONCACAF Championship, where the home team were crowned as champions and the 1991 CONCACAF Women's Championship where the final match between the USA and Canada reached overcapacity of 30,000. Antigua Barracuda were an Antiguan professional football team based in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda. Founded in 2010, the team played in USL Pro, the third tier of the United States soccer league system from 2011 to 2013. The Caribbean Club Championship, also known as the CFU Club Championship or CFU Club Champions' Cup, was an annual international football competition held amongst association football clubs that are members of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The Caribbean Club Championship served as a qualifying event for the CONCACAF Champions League tournament. The tournament was officially the Flow CONCACAF Caribbean Club Championship for sponsorship reasons from 2018 to 2022. With the expansion of the CONCACAF Champions League starting from the 2024 edition, the 2022 edition of the Caribbean Club Championship was the last held. The 1984 CONCACAF Champions' Cup was the 20th edition of the CONCACAF Champions' Cup, the annual international club association football competition held in the CONCACAF region (North America, Central America and the Caribbean). The CONCACAF Champions League, known officially as the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League for sponsorship reasons, is an annual continental club football competition organized by CONCACAF. The tournament is contested by clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. 2010–11 Ligue Haïtienne Season
The 2010–11 Ligue Haïtienne season was the 47th season of top-tier football in Haiti. It began on 30 July 2010 and ended on 30 January 2011. The league is split into two tournaments—the ''Série de Ouverture'' and the ''Série de Clôture''—each with identical formats and each contested by the same 16 teams. Teams JS Capoise and ASPDIF finished in 15th and 16th place in the overall table at the end of last season and were relegated to the Haitian second level leagues. They were replaced by the two Haitian second level promotion playoff winners: Eclair and América des Cayes. In addition, Aigle Noir and Racing FC finished in 13th and 14th place in the overall table at the end of last season and took part in promotion-relegation playoffs for their spots in the league against the runners-up of the second level promotion playoffs.
