Victor Smolski
Victor Dmitriyevich Smolski (russian: Виктор Дмитриевич Смольский, be, Віктар Дзмітрыевіч Смольскі, born 1 February 1969) is a guitarist who was a member of the German heavy metal band Rage from 1999 until 2015, and a member of the metal bands Almanac, Mind Odyssey and Lingua Mortis Orchestra (LMO). Biography The son of professor Dmitry Smolski, a symphonic music composer, Victor was six years old when he began studying the piano, cello and later guitar. Smolski presented his a symphonic metal band called Almanac in 2015. Their debut album, ''Tsar'', was released on 18 March 2016. Minsk ( be, Мінск ; russian: Минск) is the capital and the largest city of Belarus, located on the Svislach and the now subterranean Niamiha rivers. Seventh Avenue (band)
Seventh Avenue was a Christian metal band from Wolfsburg, Germany, formed in 1989. Consisting of guitarist/vocalist Herbie Langhans, guitarist Florian Gottsleben, bassist Markus Beck, and drummer Mike Pflüger, Seventh Avenue played a hybrid style of speed and power metal with a focus on melodies. They released six albums and two EPs. The band launched a demo titled ''First Strike'' in 1993, but the loss of their guitarist delayed their first album, ''Rainbowland'', until 1995. They then signed with Treasure Hunt Records. Their first release on this label, ''Tales of Tales'', topped at No. 18 on the Japanese heavy metal charts. Silent Force is a German power metal band with neoclassical and progressive influences, founded by guitarist Alex Beyrodt. Band history The band was formed in 1999 by German guitarist Alex Beyrodt ( Sinner, Primal Fear, Voodoo Circle, The Sygnet) and American singer D.C. Cooper (of Royal Hunt fame). ''Der Bote'' ('The Messenger') was a German-language Mennonite newspaper published in Winnipeg, Manitoba, by Mennonite Church Canada. ''Der Bote'' was first published 16 January 1924 as ''Der Mennonitische Immigrantenbote'' by Dietrich H. Mike Terrana (born January 21, 1960) is an American hard rock and heavy metal drummer. His first professional work was in 1984 with the MCA band Hanover Fist from Toronto, Canada, after which he recorded and toured with other bands, playing many styles of music in western New York state. Between 1987 and 1997, he was based in Los Angeles and worked with various virtuoso guitarists, including Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony Macalpine, and Steve Lukather, and bands like Kuni and Beau Nasty. In 1997, Terrana moved to Europe, first in the Netherlands for six months and then Germany. Lacrimosa is a Swiss rock duo led by German Tilo Wolff, the main composer, and Finn Anne Nurmi. They are currently based in Switzerland, but originally from Germany. Originally counted among the bands of the Neue Deutsche Todeskunst genre, Lacrimosa are most associated with the gothic metal and symphonic metal genres. Their musical style mixes gothic rock and heavy metal, along with violin, trumpet, and more classical instruments, although their musical development throughout the years has also led to changes in instrumentation. Lacrimosa's lyrics are written almost exclusively in German, although since the 1995 album ''Inferno'' every album has featured one or two songs in English, generally written by Anne Nurmi.
