Bodfish is a census-designated place (CDP) in the southern Kern River Valley of the Southern Sierra Nevada, in Kern County, California. Bodfish is located east-northeast of Bakersfield, at an elevation of . The population was 1,956 at the 2010 census, up from 1,823 at the 2000 census. History The place was named for George Homer Bodfish, who settled nearby in 1867. The Bodfish post office first opened in 1892, closed in 1895, and re-opened in 1906. Vaughn Everett Taylor (February 22, 1910 – April 26, 1983) was an American actor. He became known for his roles in many anthology series, including ''Kraft Television Theatre'' (1947–1957) and '' Robert Montgomery Presents'' (1950–1954). He also appeared in films such as ''Cat on a Hot Tin Roof'' (1958) and '' Psycho'' (1960). Early years Taylor was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a graduate of Northeastern University and the Leland Powers School of Elocution, Boston. Instead of pursuing a career in accounting, he tried summer stock theatre in Maine. Danny Vaughn, born Daniel Himler on July 18th, 1961, is an American singer. Vaughn has performed with Waysted, Tyketto and Vaughn and now performs and releases under his own name. He was also a lead singer in the Ultimate Eagles. Danny Vaughn is a product of Steiner education. At lower school, he was placed into a choir. “My first public performance was singing Pie Jesu in soprano. I remember the audience craning their necks to see who the little kid who sang the solo was. Vaughn Bernard van Jaarsveld (born 2 February 1985) is a South African cricketer who plays for the Dolphins as a left-handed batsman and occasional wicket-keeper. He has represented his country at under-nineteen level. Vaughn Joseph Taylor (born March 9, 1976) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and Web.com Tour. Born in Roanoke, Virginia, Taylor was raised in Augusta, Georgia, from infancy. After attending Hephzibah High School, he played golf for Augusta State University where he was an honorable mention All-American his senior season.
