Vasil Khamutowski
Vasil Iosifavich Khamutowski ( be, Васіль Іосіфавіч Хамутоўскі, russian: Василий Иосифович Хомутовский, ''Vasily Iosifovich Khomutovsky''; born 30 August 1978) is a former Belarusian football goalkeeper and currently a coach. Football career He started his career in 1994 with Smena Minsk, a club from the Belarusian third division. Since 1995, he has been regularly transferring from one club to another and subsequently played for Ataka-Aura Minsk in 1996, BATE Borisov in 1998, Smena-BATE Minsk in the same year, again BATE Borisov in 1999 and then again Smena-BATE Minsk, also in 1999. In 2000, he moved to Torpedo-MAZ Minsk before transferring abroad for the first time in the summer of the same year, to German side Waldhof Mannheim, who played in the 2nd Bundesliga at the time. Minsk-2 was a Belarusian football club based in Minsk and was a reserve team of FC Minsk. History The team was formed in 1954 as FShM Minsk (''Futbolnaya Shkhola Molodyozhi'', or ''Football School of Youth'') and was essentially a student team. During Soviet years, they spent the most of their seasons playing only in youth competitions, although they also spent several seasons in senior Belarusian SSR league. The Belarus national under-21 football team is the national under-21 football team of Belarus and is controlled by the Football Federation of Belarus. The team competed in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, held every two years. History The team qualified for the final round of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship three times.
