Overseas Vietnamese (, , or ) refers to the Vietnamese diaspora living outside of Vietnam. The global overseas Vietnamese population is estimated at 5 to 6 million people. The Vietnamese alphabet (, ) is the modern writing script for the Vietnamese language.
