Verónica Pérez Fernández (born 21 June 1978) is a Spanish politician, general secretary of the PSOE of Seville and member of the Parliament of Andalusia since 2004. Biography Born on 21 June 1978, in San Juan de Aznalfarache, her relationship with the PSOE began at age 14 in the Socialist Youth, joining the PSOE at age 18. Since then she has held various positions as Secretary of the Environment and Regional Planning of the PSOE—A in the period 2004–2008. Between 1999 and 2005, she was councilor of the City Council of San Juan de Aznalfarache and is also a provincial deputy since 2004. In the regional elections of 2004, she was elected deputy for the province of Seville in the Parliament of Andalusia, position that she renews in the elections of 2008, 2012 and 2015. 2015 Andalusian Regional Election
The 2015 Andalusian regional election was held on Sunday, 22 March 2015, to elect the 10th Parliament of the autonomous community of Andalusia. All 109 seats in the Parliament were up for election. President Susana Díaz chose to terminate the coalition government between her Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE–A) and United Left (IULV–CA), dissolving the Parliament and calling a snap election for 22 March 2015. Andalusia had been traditionally considered a PSOE stronghold, being the only region in Spain in which no other party had led the regional government since the Spanish transition to democracy. The PSOE–A regained first place from a declining People's Party (PP). Susana Díaz
Susana Díaz Pacheco (; born 18 October 1974) is a Spanish politician from Andalusia and the former leader of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) of Andalusia. She served as the president of Andalusia until January 2019 following José Antonio Griñán's resignation in 2013, and was subsequently re-elected in Andalusia's 2015 regional election but was defeated in 2017 by Pedro Sánchez. Early life Díaz is the eldest child of José Díaz, a plumber, and his wife, Rosa Pacheco, a housewife with whom he had three other daughters, Diana, Rocío and Laura. She has a child named José María. The 2012 Andalusian regional election was held on Sunday, 25 March 2012, to elect the 9th Parliament of the autonomous community of Andalusia. All 109 seats in the Parliament were up for election. The election was held simultaneously with a regional election in Asturias. Being a Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE–A) stronghold for decades, the People's Party (PP) had scored a decisive win in the region in the November 2011 general election and was widely expected to come out on top in the regional election for the first time in its history, with opinion polls suggesting it could win an absolute majority on its own.
