Vasile Stan (vicar Bishop)
Vasile Stan (born 11 February 1945) is a Romanian former football goalkeeper. Playing career Vasile Stan was born on 11 February 1945 in Bucharest, Romania and he started to play football at age 15 under the guidance of coach Lăzărescu at fourth league side, F.C.M.E. In 1966 he went to play for Dinamo Victoria București in Divizia B. One year later, Stan switched teams again, going to play for Argeș Pitești for which he made his Divizia A debut under coach Ion Bălănescu on 24 September 1967, keeping a clean sheet in a 4–0 home win over Dinamo Bacău. He played only four games in his first top-league season, as Narcis Coman was preferred as first-choice goalkeeper, so he went to play for Jiul Petroșani where he worked with coach Titus Ozon, being first-choice for three seasons. Afterwards he returned to Argeș where in his first season coaches Ozon and Florin Halagian used him in 29 games from a total of 30, helping the club win the first title in its history. Then ...

Florin Halagian
Florin Vașken Halagian (7 March 1939 – 12 August 2019) was a Romanian football player and manager of Armenian descent, hence the nickname ''Armeanul'' (The Armenian). He is the manager who has the most matches in Liga I with 878 games consisting of 432 victories, 176 draws and 270 losses. On 25 March 2008 he was decorated by the president of Romania, Traian Băsescu for all of his achievements as a football coach, and for forming a young generation of future champions with Ordinul "Meritul Sportiv" — (The Order "The Sportive Merit") class III. Halagian was the manager of the Romania national football team for one match during 1979. Constantin Radu (5 January 1945 – 16 May 2020) was a Romanian football forward. International career Constantin Radu played three friendly games at international level for Romania, making his debut on 7 December 1966 when coach Ilie Oană sent him on the field in the 62nd minute in order to replace Mircea Lucescu in a 2–1 away victory against Israel. His following game was a 2–1 away victory against Greece and his last game played for the national team was a 4–2 away victory against Morocco in which he scored one goal. Ion Barbu (footballer, Born 1938)
Ion "Bebe" Barbu (24 December 1938 – 2 May 2011) was a Romanian international football defender who played for clubs in Romania and Turkey. Career Born in Craiova, Barbu started playing football for Lokomotiva Craiova and Dinamo Obor București. In 1959, he joined FC Argeş Piteşti, where he would play for 13 seasons, appearing in 224 league matches and winning the Romanian league in the 1971–72 season. In 1970, Barbu moved to Turkey to join Beşiktaş J.K. He made 20 appearances in the Süper Lig during the 1970–71 season. He was the first FC Argeş player to be allowed to play outside of Romania during the communist regime. Barbu made seven appearances for the Romania national football team. Ilie Oană
Ilie Oană (16 August 1918 – 27 April 1993) was a football player and manager who represented and coached the Romania national football team. Career Oană was born in Indiana Harbor to Romanian parents who emigrated from Transylvania before the outbreak of World War I. In 1921, his parents moved back to their homeland, settling in Sibiu after the 1918 Union of Transylvania with Romania. Oană began his football career with local side Șoimii Sibiu. He joined Petrolul Ploiești in 1937. Because he was born in the United States, he was nicknamed "Americanul" ''(The American)''.
