Useless Keys
Useless Keys are an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California composed of Michael Regilio (guitar, keyboards) and Michael Bauer (guitar, vocals). The band formed in May 2008 and their first show was on June 19, 2008 at Spaceland in Silver Lake, California. Biography Useless Keys recorded 6 songs at The Carriage House in Silver Lake, California with grammy winning producer Sheldon Gomberg over the winter of 2009. Two songs, "Down Threw" and "White Noise" were mixed by Rick Parker who has also worked with The Von Bondies and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. "Down Threw" has received strong support from Los Angeles major rock radio station KROQ-FM with multiple spins over the summer of 2009. The recordings have also earned the band praise from various Los Angeles publications including LA Record, LA Weekly, and several popular LA based blogs including Buzzbands, LA Underground, and Radio Free Silverlake. Blitzen Trapper is a Portland, Oregon-based experimental country music, country/Folk music, folk/Rock and roll, rock band associated with Sub Pop Records, Vagrant Records and Lojinx. Formed in 2000, the band currently operates as a quintet, with Eric Earley (guitar/harmonica/vocals/keyboard), Erik Menteer (guitar/keyboard), Brian Adrian Koch (drums/vocals/harmonica), Michael Van Pelt (bass), and Marty Marquis (guitar/keyboards/vocals/melodica). Blitzen Trapper self-released its first three albums. "Wild Mountain Nation" was No. 98 on ''Rolling Stone''s list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007. Warpaint is an American indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2004. The band consists of Emily Kokal (vocals, guitar), Theresa Wayman (vocals, guitar), Jenny Lee Lindberg (bass, vocals), and Stella Mozgawa (drums). To date, the band has released four studio albums: '' The Fool'' (2010), '' Warpaint'' (2014), '' Heads Up'' (2016), and ''Radiate Like This'' (2022). History Beginning and formation (2004–2007) Warpaint formed in Los Angeles on Valentine's Day 2004.
