''Uncorrected Personality Traits'' is a compilation album by Robyn Hitchcock, released in 1997 on Rhino Records. The album includes three instrumentals and mixes solo work with tracks recorded by Robyn Hitchcock & The Egyptians in the 1980s. Robyn Hitchcock
Robyn Rowan Hitchcock (born 3 March 1953) is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist. While primarily a vocalist and guitarist, he also plays harmonica, piano, and bass guitar. After leading the Soft Boys in the late 1970s and releasing the influential '' Underwater Moonlight'', Hitchcock launched a prolific solo career. His musical and lyrical styles have been influenced by Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Syd Barrett, Captain Beefheart, Martin Carthy, Lou Reed, Roger McGuinn and Bryan Ferry. Hitchcock's earliest lyrics mined a rich vein of English surrealist comic tradition and tended to depict a particular type of eccentric and sardonic English worldview. Rhino Entertainment Company is an American specialty record label and production company founded in 1978. It is currently the catalog division for Warner Music Group. Its current CEO is Mark Pinkus. History Founded in 1978, Rhino was originally a novelty and reissue label during the 1970s and 1980s. ''Greatest Hits'' is a collection of material by Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians from the A&M period 1988–1992, spanning the albums '' Globe of Frogs'', '' Queen Elvis'', '' Perspex Island'', and '' Respect''. The collection also includes various hard-to-find B-Sides, which acted as a strong selling point for Hitchcock's fans, including ''Legalized Murder'', ''Ruling Class'', ''Dark Green Energy'' and ''Bright Fresh Flower''. In addition, two cover songs are included – Bryan Ferry's ''More Than This'' and a live recording of the Byrds' ''Eight Miles High''. I Often Dream Of Trains
''I Often Dream of Trains'' is the third album by Robyn Hitchcock, released in 1984. It is Hitchcock's first acoustic-based album. After the break-up of The Soft Boys, Hitchcock recorded two solo albums — 1981's '' Black Snake Diamond Role'' and 1982's poorly received '' Groovy Decay'' — before hitting an artistic slump mitigated only by some collaborations with Captain Sensible. Hitchcock worked odd jobs, including a stint as a gardener and a journalist. Hitchcock felt compelled to return to music after listening to ''Wading Through a Ventilator'', a 1984 EP that compiles The Soft Boys' early singles. He wanted to make a fully solo album that, he would later comment, "only I could be blamed for". Robin Miriam Carlsson (born 12 June 1979), known as Robyn (), is a Swedish pop singer, songwriter, record producer, and DJ. She arrived on the music scene with her 1995 debut album, '' Robyn Is Here'', which produced two ''Billboard'' Hot 100 top 10 singles: "Do You Know (What It Takes)" and " Show Me Love". Her second and third albums, ''My Truth'' (1999) and '' Don't Stop the Music'' (2002), were released in Sweden.
