Uncanny X-Force
''Uncanny X-Force'' was a comic book ongoing series published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Rick Remender and artist Jerome Opeña, the first volume of the series continued the story of Wolverine and his X-Force team from the series '' X-Force,'' vol. 3. The title was relaunched after issue #35 as part of the Marvel NOW! relaunch event, and the new volume features Psylocke and Storm leading a new team of "outcasts and scoundrels". The second volume was one of two X-Force ongoing titles, along with '' Cable and X-Force''. Publication history ''Uncanny X-Force,'' vol. 1, was launched in October 2010 to replace '' X-Force'', vol. 3. This new series features members of the previous X-Force team, which was to have been shut down by X-Men leader Cyclops due to the existence of the team having been previously exposed and now operates without him knowing. Cable And X-Force
''Cable and X-Force'' was an ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics that began in February 2013, as part of Marvel NOW! The series finds Cable awakening after '' Avengers vs. X-Men'' and on the run with his new team of X-Force from the Uncanny Avengers. The series was replaced by X-Force Volume 4. Publication history In mid-September, 2012, Marvel Comics announced that a new title ''Cable and X-Force'' would be published in December, headed by the creative team of Dennis Hopeless and Salvador Larroca. The series harkens back to the early days of the original X-Force: Cable leads a fugitive team consisting of Domino, Colossus, Forge and Doctor Nemesis, against the newly formed Uncanny Avengers, led by Cable's uncle, Havok. Hope Summers has a penchant for showing up in the series, as she is Cable's de facto daughter - several issues, including #005, give much attention to Hope on her journey to rejoin her father and his new X-Force team. Apocalypse (comics)
Apocalypse (En Sabah Nur) is a supervillain appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is one of the world's first mutants, and was originally a principal villain for the original X-Factor team and now for the X-Men and related spin-off teams. Created by writer Louise Simonson and artist Jackson Guice, Apocalypse first appeared in ''X-Factor'' #5 (May 1986). Apocalypse is one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. Marrow (comics)
Marrow (Sarah) is a fictional superheroine appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is most commonly associated with the X-Men franchise. She is depicted as a mutant whose bones grow out of her skin. These can be removed from her body, providing her with potential knives, clubs, and body armor. As a child, Marrow was taken in by the Morlocks, a band of grotesque-looking mutants who hid in tunnels beneath New York City. As a young adult, she formed the violent splinter cell Gene Nation until, under the orders of Morlock leader Callisto, she joined the X-Men to redeem herself. She made progress controlling her powers and learning a moral code, but eventually fell in with the paramilitary group Weapon X. Simon Spurrier
Simon "Si" Spurrier (born 2 May 1981) is a British comics writer and novelist, who has previously worked as a cook, a bookseller, and an art director for the BBC. Getting his start in comics with the British small press, he went on to write his own series for '' 2000 AD'', like '' Lobster Random'', '' Bec & Kawl'', '' The Simping Detective'' and '' Harry Kipling'', as well as a number of stories for the flagship character '' Judge Dredd''. In recent years he has broken into the American comic book industry, writing mainly for Marvel Comics. He also wrote Marvel's '' X-Force'' in 2014 and 2015, which starred the characters Cable, Psylocke, Marrow and Fantomex. Spiral (comics)
Spiral (Rita Wayword) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with Longshot (Marvel Comics), Longshot or the X-Men. Created by writer Ann Nocenti and artist Art Adams, the character first appeared in ''Longshot (Marvel Comics), Longshot'' #1 (September 1985), in which she was established as a lieutenant for that titular character's archenemy, Mojo (comics), Mojo. Prior to Longshot joining the X-Men, Spiral also became a recurring adversary of that team and each of the various X-Men subgroups, as well as serving as the archenemy turned ally of X-Men member Betsy Braddock, Psylocke.
