''Ulvenatten'' (Night of the Wolf) is a Norwegian action and drama film from 2008 directed by Kjell Sundvall. It is based on Tom Egeland's 2005 novel of the same name. The film premiered in Norway on February 29, 2008. The film was seen by 61,672 viewers at Norwegian cinemas. Plot The film is portrays a live debate program on television, when terrorists from Chechnya take host Kristin Bye and the debaters hostage. Anneke von der Lippe (born 22 July 1964) is a Norwegian actress. She made history as the first Norwegian actress – and Nordic - to win an International Emmy Award. Christian Skolmen (born 28 October 1970) is a Norwegian film, stage, television and voice actor who has been part of the Nationaltheatret since 1995, where he has appeared in The Pretenders ( Ibsen), the Three Musketeers ( Dumas) and Bakkantinnene (Euripides). He has also performed at the Torshovteatret in Ondskapen ( Guillou), and the Trøndelag Teater in Peer Gynt (Ibsen). Tom Egeland (born 8 July 1959 in Oslo) is a Norwegian author. His great-grandfather was Jon Flatabø from Kvam in Hardanger, one of the pioneer authors of popular literature in Norway. Egeland's novels are published in Norwegian and transelated into 25 languages.
