Uwe Rahn
Uwe Rahn (born 21 May 1962) is a German former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Career Rahn played 318 Bundesliga matches in his professional career, scoring the majority of his 107 Bundesliga goals in his eight years at Borussia Mönchengladbach where he grew to a West Germany international and lifted the kicker-Torjägerkanone award for scoring the most goals in the Bundesliga of 1986–87. The attacking midfielder scored 24 goals that season, fourteen in the course of the final nine weeks of the season. Subsequent to this achievement, Rahn was awarded Footballer of the Year (Germany) in 1987. Shortly after, he was poised to join PSV Eindhoven as a replacement for Ruud Gullit, but a move stalled and did not take place. Helmut Rahn (16 August 1929 – 14 August 2003), known as ''Der Boss'' (The Boss), was a German footballer who played as a Forward (association football), forward. He became a legend for having scored the winning goal in 1954 FIFA World Cup Final, the final of the 1954 FIFA World Cup (Germany national football team, West Germany vs. Hungary national football team, Hungary 3–2). Rahn, along with the German team, were decorated by the President of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1972. Wolfgang Felix Magath (; born 26 July 1953) is a German football manager and former player. The most notable spell of his playing career was with Hamburger SV, with whom he won three Bundesliga titles, the 1977 European Cup Winners' Cup Final and the 1983 European Cup Final, scoring in both finals.
