Us Paar
''Us Paar'' is a 1974 Hindi film directed by Basu Chatterjee and starring Vinod Mehra and Moushumi Chatterjee. It has music by Sachin Dev Burman and lyrics by Yogesh. Synopsis Us-Paar is a story about a young guy who comes to his village after completing his studies and falls in love with a girl. Later he learns that the girl who he loves is already engaged to someone else. The story takes a turn when they plans to escape from the girl's fiancé but the guy does not turn up. Basu Chatterjee
Basu Chatterjee (10 January 1927 – 4 June 2020) was an Indian film director and screenwriter in Hindi Cinema. Through the 1970s and 1980s, he became associated with what came to be known as middle cinema or middle-of-the-road cinema filmmakers, such as Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Bhattacharya, whom he assisted on Teesri Kasam (1966). Like their films, his films dealt with light-hearted stories of middle-class families often in urban settings, focusing on marital and love relationships. ''Phagun'' () is a 1973 Hindi film written and directed by Rajinder Singh Bedi, and starring Dharmendra, Waheeda Rehman, Jaya Bhaduri and Vijay Arora. Plot The film has a Maharashtrian backdrop with many characters speaking Marathi dialogues and are in Marathi costumes. Vinod Mehra
Vinod Mehra (13 February 1945 – 30 October 1990) was an Indian actor in Bollywood, Hindi films. He started out as a child actor in the mid 1950s before starting his film career as an adult in 1971. He acted in over 100 films from the 1970s through to his death at the age of 45 in 1990. He was also the producer and director of the film ''Gurudev (film), Gurudev'' which was released 3 years after his death.
