Ureña Sport Club is a Venezuelan association football, football team that is based in Ureña, Táchira, Ureña. Founded in 2008, they play in the Venezuelan Segunda División. History Founded in 2008, Ureña SC played their first senior season in the 2009–10 Venezuelan Segunda División B, Segunda División B, after acquiring the place of . Ahead of the 2010–11 season, they were invited to play in the Venezuelan Segunda División, Segunda División. In 2015, Ureña achieved promotion to the Venezuelan Primera División, Primera División, after winning the 2014–15 second division. They avoided relegation in the 2015 Venezuelan Primera División season, 2015 campaign, but dropped a level in 2016 Venezuelan Primera División season, 2016, after a poor Clausura tournament. Adolfo Enrique Monsalve Parra (born 11 January 1982) is a Venezuelan football manager and former player. Career Born in San Cristóbal, Monsalve worked as a youth coach for Deportivo Táchira before being named an assistant of the side for the 2017 season. In October of that year, he was an interim for one match after the departure of manager Santiago Escobar and new coach Francesco Stifano was unavailable.
