University Hockey League
University Hockey League (UHL) was an American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division II club level hockey-only college athletic conference with teams in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. It was founded in 1998 by University of Pittsburgh, Penn State University, Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), and West Virginia University. University of Findlay was a member from the 1999-00 through the 2000-01 seasons. Robert Morris University was a member during 2001-02. University of Maryland joined in 2002. Liberty University joined the UHL in September 2003. North Carolina State joined in June 2004. Penn State left following the 2003-04 season. West Virginia University (WVU) was a member from the 1998-99 to the 1999-2000 season, and rejoined for the 2002-03 season. Ice Hockey
Ice hockey (or simply hockey in North America) is a team sport played on ice skates, usually on an Ice rink, ice skating rink with Ice hockey rink, lines and markings specific to the sport. The University of Findlay (UF) is a private Christian university in Findlay, Ohio, United States. It was established in 1882 through a joint partnership between the Churches of God General Conference and the city of Findlay. Atlantic Coast Collegiate Hockey League
The Atlantic Coast Collegiate Hockey League (ACCHL) is a non-NCAA collegiate ice hockey league in the mid-atlantic and southeast regions of the United States. The Mission of the ACC Hockey League is to provide student-athletes an option to compete in organized intercollegiate ice hockey without the high expenses of NCAA level hockey. Eastern Collegiate Hockey Association
Established in 1991, the Eastern Collegiate Hockey Association is a hockey-only college athletic conference whose members are East Coast schools. The ECHA is part of the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 1. League Format ECHA members play each conference opponent twice, once at home and once away. In addition teams play non-league games against other ACHA member schools. At the conclusion of the regular season in February the league holds a championship tournament. At the conclusion of the ECHA championship tournament, the ECHA regular season champions receive an automatic bid to the ACHA Men's Division I National Tournament. College Hockey Mid-America (CHMA) is an American Collegiate Hockey Association Division I ice hockey conference with teams in Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The league was formed in 2006 after members of the now defunct University Hockey League organized the league and moved from the ACHA's Division II to Division I. The West Virginia Mountaineers are the athletic teams that represent West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. The Liberty Flames and Lady Flames are the athletics teams of Liberty University, in Lynchburg, Virginia, United States. They are a member of the NCAA Division I level in 20 sports. As of July 1, 2023, LU is a member of Conference USA (CUSA) for most sports, joining that league after five years as a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN).
