Undocumented (2010 Film)
''Undocumented'' is a 2010 independent horror thriller directed by Chris Peckover and written by Chris Peckover and Joe Peterson. It stars Scott Mechlowicz, Alona Tal, Yancey Arias, Kevin Weisman and Peter Stormare. Plot Filmmakers Travis, William, Liz, Davie, and Jim are filming a documentary on illegal Mexican immigrants. After interviewing several of Davie's family members and harassing an employer of illegal immigrants named Whitaker, the group accompanies a large group of immigrants including Davie's cousin Alberto and his wife and child, across the Mexico–United States border. Once in the United States, the truck carrying the immigrants is stopped and taken by what seems to be the United States Border Patrol. The truck is instead taken to a facility where the filmmakers are interrogated and the immigrants taken captive. Chris Peckover
Chris Peckover (born 1981 or 1982) is an Australian Canadian filmmaker best known for the horror films '' Undocumented'' and ''Better Watch Out''. Early life Peckover was born in Montreal and holds dual citizenship in Canada and Australia as his mother is Australian. He was raised in Rockwall, Texas. Education Peckover attended Yale University, where he initially intended to study psychology as a pre-med student before switching to a film studies major. He later graduated from the Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California. Career A year after graduating from the University of Southern California, Peckover sold the script to his first feature film, '' Undocumented''. The finished project was released in 2010. Tim Draxl (born 8 October 1981) is an Australian actor and singer, known for his role as Doctor Henry Fox in ''A Place to Call Home''. Leonardo Krys
Leonardo Krys (1944-2009) was a travel agent whose 1991 heart attack aboard a Lufthansa flight prompted U.S.-based airlines to install Automated External Defibrillators, or AED, on their planes. Heart attack On November 30, 1991, Krys boarded a Lufthansa 747 in Miami, headed to Frankfurt, Germany. About an hour out, he suffered the symptoms of a cardiac infarction. The crew did not make an unscheduled landing and landed in Germany after a 10 hours flight. Upon landing, the plane was met by an ambulance which transported Krys to a hospital. At the hospital, the doctors concluded that Krys had indeed suffered a heart attack. Krys and his wife argued that Lufthansa's crew acted negligently in responding to the symptoms displayed by Mr. Krys and thus aggravated the damage to his heart.
