Ujazd is a town in Tomaszów Mazowiecki County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Ujazd, Łódź Voivodeship, Gmina Ujazd. It lies approximately north-west of Tomaszów Mazowiecki and south-east of the regional capital Łódź. It is located within the historic Łęczyca Land. Ujazd, Opole Voivodeship
Ujazd () is a town in Strzelce County in the Opole Voivodeship in southern Poland. Population 1,647. The town lies on bank of the river Kłodnica. Tourist attractions in the town include the Ujazd Castle (formerly used by bishops of Wrocław) and two churches: 17th-century Baroque Saint Andrew church and 19th-century Gothic Revival Visitation church. History The oldest known mention of Ujazd dates back to a document of Pope Adrian IV from 1155, when it was part of the Piast-ruled Kingdom of Poland. It was granted town rights in 1223 by Bishop of Wrocław Wawrzyniec. Already in the 13th century, a Catholic parish and municipal council existed in the town. Its name is of Polish origin. The town suffered during the Thirty Years' War (1618–1648) and the Silesian Wars (1740–1763) and in 1666, 1676, 1770 it was hit by fires. It was captured by Prussia in 1740 and annexed afterwards. Ujazd is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Iwaniska, within Opatów County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland. It lies approximately south-east of Iwaniska, south-west of Opatów, and east of the regional capital Kielce. The village is the location of the ruined castle of Krzyżtopór. Ujazd (, , ) is a district in the town of Zgorzelec, in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in southwestern Poland. The district is located at the Germany–Poland border, and it straddles the river Czerwona Woda (river), Czerwona Woda, a tributary of Lusatian Neisse, which defines the state border. History The earliest mention of Moys dates back to 1309.
