Uchi-Kanda
is a district in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. As of March 1, 2008, its population is 1,277. The Uchi-Kanda district is located in the northern part of Chiyoda, to the west of Kanda Station (Tokyo), Kanda Station. It is bordered on the south by the Nihonbashi River and, above the river, the Shuto Expressway, separating the district from Ōtemachi to the south. Its eastern boundary is the elevated railway of the Ueno–Tokyo Line and Yamanote Line, to the east of which lies Kajichō, Tokyo, Kajichō. In the southeast, where the railway and river cross, a small corner of Hongokucho, Nihonbashi-Hongokuchō, a district of Chūō, Tokyo, Chūō, is connected to Uchi-Kanda at street level. Ōtemachi
is a district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It is located north of Tokyo Station and Marunouchi, east of the Imperial Palace, west of Nihonbashi and south of Kanda. It is the location of the former site of the village of Shibazaki, the most ancient part of Tokyo. Ōtemachi is known as a center of Japanese journalism, housing the main offices of three of the "big five" newspapers as well as being a key financial center and headquarters for large Japanese corporations. Chūō, Tokyo
is a special ward in the Tokyo Metropolis in Japan. The ward refers to itself in English as Chūō City. It was formed in 1947 as a merger of Kyōbashi and Nihonbashi wards following Tokyo City's transformation into Tokyo Metropolis. Chūō-ku, as a combination of Kyōbashi and Nihonbashi, is the core of Shitamachi, the original downtown center of Edo-Tokyo.
