USA Perpignan
Union Sportive Arlequins Perpignanais, also referred to as USA Perpignan or Perpignan, is a French professional rugby union club founded in 1933 and based in Perpignan, in the Pyrénées-Orientales department. They compete in the Top 14, France's elite division of rugby. The club is a result of a merger between US Perpignan and Arlequins Perpignanais in 1933. US Perpignan was also born from a union of merging clubs AS Perpignan (founded in 1902) and Stade Olympien Perpignanais, which took place in 1919. Its home ground is the 14,593-capacity Stade Aimé Giral but important fixtures may occasionally be taken to Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, in Barcelona. The club's colours are sky blue, scarlet and golden yellow, which derived from the Catalan Senyera and gives Perpignan its nickname ''Les Sang et Or'' (French for "The Blood and Golds"). USA Pickleball
USA Pickleball, or USAP, is the de facto governing body for the sport of pickleball in the United States. It was the world's first national pickleball organization established when it was formed in 1984 as the United States Amateur Pickleball Association. It reorganized as the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) in 2005. The organization adopted the name USA Pickleball in 2020. As the USAPA, the organization published the first official pickleball rule book in 1984 and published the ''USA Pickleball Association Official Tournament Rulebook'' in 2008. Since 2005 the organization has operated as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. United States Academic Pentathlon
The Academic Pentathlon (USAP) is an academic competition involving five academic fields of study (math, social sciences, science, literature, and fine arts). It is run by the USAD (United States Academic Decathlon). The exact topics involved vary from year to year, but typically include topics from both the sciences and humanities. At the national Academic Pentathlon competitions, schools from both the United States and China compete, but in different divisions. In 2014 and 2015, Austin Academy from Garland, Texas were gold and silver overall in the 8th and 7th grade divisions, respectively. In 2016, Fairmont Private Schools of Anaheim, California won 1st and 2nd place. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, Rio Calaveras Elementary School from Stockton, California, won gold in both the 7th and 8th grade divisions.
